CastCoverZ! founder and CEO Annette Giacomazzidecided to ditch the original design's flaps, interfacing, and double-facing fabric and avoided elastic, zippers, and Velcro® to come up with a much simpler, cleaner look for the CastCoverZ! product that fashionably and functionally covers orthotic walking boots. To simplify their customer's life even more, the latest iteration of the Bootz! is made to fit over nearly every size and manufacturer's walking boot. In conceiving of the new design, the CastCoverZ! team used competitive skate covers as a model and then took it to a whole new level, by incorporating suggestions from their customers.
